Brenton Announces New BrentonPro Series of Case Packers: Raises the bar for flexible energy efficient cost effective automation
May 6, 2010
Brenton announced today its new BrentonPro Series of case packers. The four models, Mach-1, Mach-2, Mach-3 and Mach-4, provide customers with high performance, small-footprint solutions capable of loading products in multiple patterns in cases or trays on the same machine. The BrentonPro Series is the result of extensive collaboration with customers seeking cost-effective, energy efficient, sustainable solutions that incorporate the latest technology and deliver benefits such as product simulation, superior collating methods, tool-less adjustment and automatic changeovers.
The BrentonPro Series accommodates line speeds ranging from 10 cases per minute up to 100 per minute and has a smaller footprint than many case packers reaching similar speeds without making engineering shortcuts or performance compromises.
The flexible BrentonPro Series accommodates multiple pack patterns and a variety of cases and trays such as RSC, HSC, wrap-around, knock-down, and/or harness for cartons, bottles, bags, pouches, cans, tubs, and/or sleeves. A continuous welded frame is standard for a long service life. The light weight aluminum guard package is seamless, built into the frame of the machine for a smaller footprint and eliminates gaps that can pose sanitary issues.
The high performance, high speed case packers are designed to maximize sustainability and maintain a low carbon footprint. Each electronic and servo drive is sized according to its torque requirements to reduce overall power requirements. Electronic drives also replace inefficient and costly air powered devices to reduce compressed air requirements.
"The new BrentonPro Series case packers are a good solution for companies interested in upgrading for better technology, increasing throughput, accommodating new or different packaging, or reducing operation and labor costs," said Barry Heiser, President End-of-line Business Unit. "Whether a customer is just beginning to automate their packaging line, upgrading from a hand pack operation or wanting to increase speeds while containing costs and supporting sustainability efforts, there is BrentonPro Series case packer to meet their need."
