Rotary Accumulator - Series 5 Overview

An accumulation system that will store products while downstream operations are temporarily inoperable. The product is fed in a straight line while the upstream operations are functioning. Products in storage will be reintroduced to the line on a first-in-first-out basis or last-in-first-out if you prefer.

Product is fed to the Rotary Accumulator in a single lane, with the long dimension leading.

Product Loading
After the appropriate amount of product accumulates on the infeed, the product is cross-pushed into the cavity of the rotary drum. The drum indexes one position while the second group of product accumulates.
