Dog food bags enter the palletizing station through an over/under belt bag flattening conveyor, this conveyor adjusts bag contents for uniform, symmetrical shape. Next, the bags transition onto gravity feed conveyor where they are conveyed onto two sections of brake/meter conveyor. The two bags on the brake/meter belt sequence forward onto the robotic pick beds. The robots pick the bags and the cycle is repeated. During the process, pallets are discharged from the pallet dispenser and a pick head places the base sheet onto the pallet. Once the load is stacked, it travels to the wrap station of an automatic stretch wrapper. From there, it is discharged and a Print and Apply Label Applicator applies labels to the pallet. The load is now ready to sequence forward to the next available station.
